Confirm the body is actually recovered before adding a training stimulus; a depleted, jet-lagged, or hungover body is not ready to grow.

Lift heavy and exhaust the largest muscles as fast as you can, keeping the session around 15 minutes rather than grinding through extra machines or the treadmill.
Pro tip Go for quads, glutes, chest, and back first — the big movers.
Watch out Adding more volume ('let me get on the treadmill') dilutes results.

Make sure vitamin D and minerals are already on board as precursors, then take animal protein right after the workout so the body has building blocks.
Pro tip Roughly 1 gram of animal protein per pound of body weight supports the adaptation.

As a 23-year-old weighing 300 lbs, Asprey trained 90 minutes a day, six days a week for 18 months and still weighed 300 lbs with the same 46-inch waist at the end.
