Sapp deliberately removes every direct path to purchase — you cannot book a call from her content, and even people who DM asking for a payment link are refused. The only entry is a live masterclass, at the end of which the cart opens for 20 minutes and payment must happen inside that window. Her two stated reasons: buyers succeed when they know exactly what's in it and enter hot, and everyone joining at once creates a cohort bond. Taha's read is that it condenses decision time so tightly the buyer can only work from what's fresh in their head — they can't talk themselves out of it and no spouse can either. Non-buyers get retargeted into the next class; many buy on their second or third attendance of the identical class, having come back for the energy.

Origin

Sapp built it around her own strengths — she says she was born for webinars and is the best salesperson for her own product, refusing to hand webinar selling to her sales team — and around the observation that women love doing things with their girls, which the cohort entry exploits.

Core principles

  • 01Refusing the direct sale is itself the sales mechanism.
  • 02Buyers succeed when they know exactly what's in it and enter hot.
  • 03A compressed decision window prevents self-talk-out and spouse-talk-out.
  • 04Simultaneous entry manufactures a cohort bond that content community can't.
  • 05Repeat attendance is normal — many buy on their second or third identical class.
  • 06One-to-many lets you handle every customer segment's objection in one pass.

How to run it

  1. 1

    Close every direct buy path

You can't book a call from the content. No link in bio to purchase, no team onboarding call. The only door is the masterclass.

Pro tip When people DM asking for the link, say no — 'got to come to the masterclass.' The refusal is itself the tactic.

  2. 2

Teach for a full hour, for free

Make them sit through the masterclass and learn the ins and outs of the offer for free. The premise: they'll only succeed if they know exactly what's in it and they're hot when they enter.

  3. 3

    Sell one-to-many by segment

Take every customer segment and handle their objection live: 'if you're a mom, I'm talking to you' — handle it. 'If you're a student, I'm talking to you' — handle it. 'If you're international' — handle it.

Pro tip Bring real energy: Sapp runs caffeine, mustaches, live role plays, and live objection handling. People join for the energy.

  4. 4

Reframe the fear on the call

'When a decision is scary, that's how you know it's right, because that's how you know you're growing. It's scary for everybody on the call right now, but if it's calling you, I do invite you to join.'

  5. 5

Open the cart for 20 minutes only

The program opens at the end of the masterclass and stays open for roughly 20 minutes. They must pay within that window.

Pro tip The mechanism: they can only work from what's fresh in their head, so they can't talk themselves out of it and no one else can either.

Watch out This only holds if you actually enforce the close — sending the link later collapses the whole structure.

  6. 6

    Onboard as a cohort

Everyone gets in at the same time — not formally cohort-style, but functionally. 'Knowing you're joining with all of the girls at the same time from across the world — that's how I built my community.'

Pro tip Taha's framing: they got bonded together at the same moment, like a shared initiation. Shared identity and language is what makes the program community stronger than the social one.

  7. 7

Retarget non-buyers into the next class

Run email sequences to bring non-buyers back. Most people join a few classes before buying — and it's the same class every time.

Pro tip Don't vary the class to chase repeat attendees; the energy is what brings them back.

In the wild

Refusing the eager buyer

Girls DM Sapp constantly asking her to send the link so they can join She Sells. The answer is always no: 'got to come to the masterclass.' She only opens the program at the end of a masterclass or webinar, for about 20 minutes.

Taha calls it genius — condensing decision time means buyers can only draw on what's fresh, so they can't talk themselves out of it and no spouse can. Sapp adds it's also a fulfilment win: everyone enters at once.

The same class, three times

Sapp's team found buyers don't typically join their first class — many attend several before purchasing, and it's the identical class each time. Her webinars run high-energy: caffeine, mustaches, live role plays, live objection handling.

People come back for the energy and eventually convert: 'okay, I finally feel like I'm going to do it now.'

Founder-led over sales-team-led

Asked why she doesn't hand webinar sales to her large team of trained sales girls, Sapp says she's the best sales girl to sell her own product and genuinely feels she was born for webinars.

She keeps the one-to-many selling in-house while her team of 22 handles the back-end sequences and retargeting she isn't an expert in.

Common mistakes

Letting eager buyers buy directly

It feels like leaving money on the table, but it breaks both mechanisms: the buyer enters cold without knowing what's in it, and they enter alone with no cohort bond.

Extending the window

The 20 minutes is the whole mechanism. Given more time, buyers talk themselves out or get talked out by a spouse.

Running a low-energy webinar

Repeat attendees come back for the energy, not new information — it's literally the same class. A flat delivery kills the repeat-attendance path to conversion.

Is it for you?

Best for

Creators and coaches with an engaged content audience selling a high-ticket program where community is part of the value.

Not ideal for

Products with no community component, low-ticket impulse purchases, or founders unwilling to be the live presenter.
