The Umwelt Reality Lens treats perception as a constructed world bounded by the signals an organism can receive. A tick builds reality from temperature and body odor, a bat from echoes, and a human largely from a narrow band of light and sound. The mechanism is simple: available receptors select a tiny subset of environmental information, the brain organizes those signals, and the resulting model feels complete even though it is partial. Apply the lens by listing what you can detect, identifying likely blind spots, and bringing in other people, instruments, or data streams. The output is a less certain but more accurate model of the situation, especially where different people report genuinely different experiences.
